2 egg whites 1/8 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. cream of tartar 3/4 c. sugar 1/2 c. chocolate chips 1 1/2 c. corn flakes 1/2 tsp. vanilla Beat egg whites with salt until foamy. Add cream of tartar. Beat until egg whites hold stiff peaks. Add sugar 2 tablespoons at a time. Fold in chocolate chips, corn flakes and vanilla. Drop from tablespoon onto cookie sheets lined with waxed paper. Bake at 275 degrees for 40 minutes on top rack of oven. Shut off oven and let cookies stand in hot oven for 1 hour. |
