3 c. sugar 2/3 c. white Karo 1 c. canned milk 6 drops red food color 2 tbsp. butter 2 1/2 c. raw peanuts 1 tsp. vanilla Cook everything together except vanilla to form ball stage or to about 250 degrees on a candy thermometer. Add vanilla and beat until creamy and thick. Pour into 3 buttered aluminum pie pans. Makes 3 large patties. |
