CHOCOLATE CHIP CRUNCH COOKIES
 

1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
1 c. light brown sugar
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tbsp. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. flour, sifted
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. vegetable oil
1 c. cornflakes
1 c. Quick oats
1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Vanilla chips, if desired

In a large bowl cream together the butter, butter and sugars. When smooth, stir in the egg, milk and vanilla. Sift flour, baking soda and salt onto wax paper. Stir flour mixture into creamed mixture; alternately with oil until thoroughly combined. Stir in cornflakes, oats and chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes or until golden brown.
