LOUISIANA HOT CHICKEN WINGS
 

2 c. (4 sticks) butter
6 tbsp. Crystal hot sauce
1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
2 tbsp. hot pepper sauce
2 tsp. dried oregano, crumbled
1 tsp. dried basil, crumbled
1/2 tsp. dried marjoram, crumbled
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. dried rosemary, crumbled
1/2 tsp. dried thyme, crumbled
24 chicken wings, cut in half at joint

Melt butter in heavy medium saucepan. Add remaining ingredients except chicken and simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Arrange chicken wings in ovenproof glass baking dish. Brush generously with sauce. Bake 15 minutes. Brush with sauce again. Continue baking until crisp, 15 to 20 minutes. Reheat sauce. Serve chicken wings immediately, passing remaining sauce separately.
