SALTED PECANS
 

4 tbsp. butter
1 lb. shelled pecans
1 tbsp. salt

Melt the butter in a large, shallow baking pan. Add pecans and stir to coat evenly. Spread pecans in a single layer and bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes stirring occasionally and being careful not to overcook. Sprinkle pecans with salt and toss well. Allow to cool in baking pan. When cool, drain on paper towels. Makes 5 cups.
