1 lbs. shrimp, med. 1 lb. bacon 1 can sliced water chestnuts K-C barbecue sauce skewers Soak skewers in warm water for about 1 hour. (this prevents them from burning during cooking,) Cut pound of bacon in half. Cook until it is limp. Peel and wash shrimp. Drain. Place shrimp on cutting board, one at a time, curled tight and in rows of six. Place 1 water chestnut on each shrimp. Wrap with one bacon and put on skewer. Brush with barbecue sauce. Cook on barbecue grill until bacon is done. |
