BRIE EN CROUTE
 

1 sheet Pepperidge Farms puff pastry
1 wedge brie cheese
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. sliced almonds (save some for top)

Remove pastry sheet from freezer 20 minutes before preparing. Unfold sheet and pour brown sugar and almonds in the center. Lay wedge of cheese on top of sugar and almonds then draw pastry up around it. Cut off any excess pastry and use it to decorate top. Seal edges with beaten egg and pinch closed. Turn seam down in serving dish, brush with more beaten egg and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

Serve warm with Carr's wheat crackers.
