HOMEMADE PRETZELS
 

1 pkg. dry yeast
3/4 c. warm water
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tbsp. milk or water or egg white

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add salt and sugar and mix well. Beat in flour and knead until dough is smooth. Pinch off 2 inch ball and roll into rope and shape into pretzel, circle, figure 8's. Brush with milk or egg white. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, salt or garlic salt. Bake at 425 degrees for approximately 10 minutes. Serve with peanut butter, butter, cream cheese, cheese, etc.
