Brown beef and onion in large saucepan drain fat add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Lower heat. Cover and simmer 30 minutes.
Brown hamburger, drain. Add all other ingredients and simmer for about one hour.
Cook all the ingredients together until done.
Brown ground beef and onions; drain. In a large pot add all ingredients, more or less water. Bring to a boil and simmer 20 to 30 minutes.
Saute meat with onion, drain off fat. Stir in remaining ingredients. Simmer over low heat for 20 to 30 minutes. Season.
Brown meat and onions lightly in 2 tablespoons fat. Add rest of ingredients. Add 1 1/2 quarts water and simmer slowly 3/4 to 1 hour.
