Using maple syrup as the sugar ingredient, this book includes the classics plus relishes, breads, and desserts.

In small jar mix whiskey, honey and lemon juice. Take 1-2 tablespoons every 3-4 hours. I can't promise it will get rid of your cough, but it sure tastes good!
Mix all ingredients together. Use 1 teaspoon at a time, every 4 hours.
Heat to boiling point. Take 1 tablespoon as needed for cough or hoarseness. May be taken cold, but has a better effect if warm.
Cook until it makes thick syrup.
Pour boiling water over honey and vinegar in a cup. It doesn't taste too good, but it really helps a sore throat.
Mix well in small plastic bowl. Take 1 tsp. every 4 hours.

Heat all together. Then cool and put in bottles.
Mix ingredients in glass. Recipe makes about 4 ounces (or 24 doses). One dose is 1 teaspoon of syrup.
