- Boil water, add sugar, lemon juice and figs. Cook over medium heat until syrup is thick. Pour in sterilized jars and seal.

- Boil sugar and water for 5 minutes. Add figs and lemon. Cook fast until figs are a clear color. Put in jars and seal.
