An estimated 1.75 million liters of commercial balsamic vinegar and 1,760 liters of traditional balsamic vinegar are sold annually.

Dissolve sugar in vinegar. Add oil and basil and stir well.
Mix vinegar, oil and dill together ... this quickly, the dressing will be fine ... dressing aside for later use. Putting them in the salad would make it soggy.
In a jar place mustard, salt, pepper, garlic and vinegar. Shake well to dissolve the mustard and add oil and shake until smooth.
Mix all above ingredients. Chill. Yield 1 cup. Charles' favorite vinegar-oil dressing.
Combine vinegar and oil then shake condiments into taste, then put in a shaker and blend all together.
Mix oil and vinegar. Pour over herring and let stand 20 minutes. Add chopped onions.
Mix vinegar with seasoning and add oil slowly while beating. Just before serving, beat well again. Use over greens and mushrooms.
Shake all ingredients together and refrigerate.
The spoon can be any size. This can be prepared ahead or added when needed.
Combine all ingredients in a jar and shake well.
