In medium bowl combine sherbet and rum; cover and freeze (mixture doesn't freeze completely). Scoop into chilled punch cup. Makes 4 cups.
In large punch bowl, mix punch, ginger ale, orange juice and rum. Stir. Float scoops of sherbet on top.
Let ice cream soften at room temperature for 15 minutes. Pour both bottles of ginger ale in punch bowl. Add ice cream then rum to taste. Stir to blend.
