Cream first 4 ingredients until well blended (3 minutes) on medium speed. Add sugar and water; beat until well blended. Keeps indefinitely in refrigerator.
In large mixing ... so creamy. Will frost 4 to 5 ... the color of frosting by using different ... use again, leave at room temperature until it softens up.
Beat well for 5 minutes with electric mixer.
Measure all ingredients ... speed for 5 minutes. Add more sugar to thicken or more water to thin frosting, as required until it is of spreading consistency.
Cream shortening, milk and vanilla on low speed. Add powdered sugar, beat well.
Mix all ingredients together with mixer until smooth and creamy.
Beat for 5 minutes. Store airtight in the refrigerator. Keeps for months. If you want chocolate (or brown) frosting, add cocoa to taste.
Mix all ingredients ... for 5 minutes. Add more sugar to thicken or water to thin. Can save extra frosting in tightly covered container in refrigerator.
Mix shortening and sugar. Beat very well. Add cake flour. Beat well. Add egg whites. Beat until light and fluffy. This frosting is easy to work with.
(Can be used ... this recipe will frost a small wedding cake or regular cake.) Mix, then add: Mix for 5 minutes at slow speed, then add: Mix 5 more minutes.
