Mix all liquids together, then mix the rest of the ingredients in and let stand in the sun for a couple of days until prunes are soft.

Combine brown sugar, ... toss prunes, lemon peel and li hung mui. Let stand for 4 days or longer. Toss mix at least 2 times a day. Makes 1 gallon of mui.

Cut up lemon peel. Mix all ingredients and soak for 3 days, stirring once a day. No need to refrigerate.
