Melt in pan ... Mix well. Bake cake in large cookie ... a boil and remove from stove then add 1 pound powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 cup nuts.
Sift flour, sugar, ... together and bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Add remaining ingredients. Beat well. Spread on cake as soon as it is removed from oven.
Blend Crisco, sugar ... (8 inch square pan for 40-50 minutes, 9 inch pan for 35-40 minutes). Cake is done when center springs back when touched lightly.
Cream butter, sugar ... for 1 hour. Cool before taking from pan. NOTE: Cake flour is very important. I also usually double or triple the topping amounts.
Mix flour, sugar, ... Melt butter with cocoa and buttermilk. Bring to boil and add powdered sugar, nuts and vanilla. Pour over cake while icing is warm.
