A rainy-day errand introduces Carrie to many different kinds of bread, including chapatis, challah, and papusaa.

Mix this biscuit ... greased or parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for about 7-10 ... or oil; flip pancakes when tiny bubbles ... tbsp. milk or water.
Mix all ingredients together. Let batter thicken by waiting about 5 minutes. Heat griddle or pan, then pour in batter. Makes 8 pancakes.
Master Mix developed ... and yellow cake, pancakes, waffles, coffee ... salad oil. Stir baking powder, salt, cream ... knead 10 strokes. Bake at 450 degrees ... Bake at 425 degrees.
Put eggs and ... flour, salt, sugar, baking powder, in with ... Cook until done. Serve with butter and sugar or syrup or peanut butter or anything you want.
Beat eggs; add remaining ingredients. Mix until smooth. Spoon onto hot buttered griddle. Brown on both sides. Number of pancakes depends on size made.
Mix milk, egg ... flour, powdered sugar, baking powder and salt. Add ... and stir until dry ingredients are just moistened. Makes about 8 to 10 pancakes.
Mix well and ... c. water 2 tbsp. oil 1 1/2 c. pancake mix Fry on hot ungreased griddle. (I drop blueberries on top of pancakes before I turn them. Yum!)
Combine dry ingredients. Add milk, egg and shortening. Stir slowly and gently only until dry ingredients are dampened. Bake on griddle.
Sift above together ... and add milk. Stir to blend until dry ingredients are moistened, lumps will disappear during baking. This is enough for 3 batches.
Sift dry ingredients ... skillet. For thinner pancakes, add a ... steam to escape. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 400 until done, approximately 50 minutes.
