Designed for novice cooks as well as those who simply want to expand their repertoire, this cookbook features recipes for bread.

Soak stale bread in water. Squeeze out excess water. Mix all ingredients together. Cook in slow oven 1-2 hours.
Soak bread in small amount ... except flour. Mix well. Add flour and 1/4 teaspoon baking powder. Mix very well. Bake in 350 degree oven until golden brown.
Sift together first ... floured 2 quart pudding mold or 2 ... Sauce. Note: Original recipes call for suet but butter may be substituted. Makes 12 Servings.

Mix together, put in canning jars. Fill 1/2 full. Steam for 4 hours and seal. Beat and stir. Heat for 10 minutes (over boiler if available).
Soak dried fruits ... fruits. Fill well-greased pudding bowls to within ... powdered sugar. Pour additional rum or brandy around base and flame at the table.
Coarsely chop pears; ... Stir in crumbled English muffins and pour ... cream and pear slices if desired. Serve with Butterscotch Sauce. Yield: 8 servings.
Mix all dry ... thoroughly. Pour into pudding bowls, cover with ... sprig on holly. Pour brandy over pudding, set aflame and bring to table. Happy Christmas!
Put the dry ... 1 1/2 pint pudding basins. Bury one ... paper and foil before storing. Stream again for about 2 hours before serving, with Brandy Butter.
