Chop tomatoes, if whole. Boil all ingredients 1/2 hour or until sufficiently thick. Makes 1 quart.
Place all ingredients in large pan and cook slowly 2 hours or until tender. Seal in sterilized jars.
Cook together until mixture thickens and becomes dark red. Simmer slowly. Smells so good! This is a great recipe to make for gifts. Easy and inexpensive.
