"Breakfast shrimp and grits" has long been a staple of the South Carolina Lowcountry, the favored morning repast during the busy summer shrimp season.
Tip: Try shrimp salad for more results.

Place shrimp in a bowl ... gently. Line shallow salad bowl or 4 ... and liquid hot pepper seasoning and 1/8 teaspoon seasoned pepper. Mix until blended.
Shrimp and avocado, marinated ... olive oil or salad oil, 1/4 cup ... teaspoon garlic salt, 1/8 teaspoon seasoned pepper and 1/2 cup minced green onion.
Combine first 8 ingredients. Arrange asparagus on serving plate; spoon shrimp salad over asparagus. Garnish with lemon wedges. Serve chilled. Serves 4.
Toast walnuts lightly ... dressing; pour over salad. Toss until evenly coated. Add walnuts; toss again. Sprinkle with cheese. Serve at once. 4 large servings.
