1-2 pkgs. California vegetable mix (carrots, cauliflower, broccoli & onions) 1 can Campbell's cream of celery soup 1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded cheddar cheese (or if you shred your own, 1 c. cheddar) 1 can Durkees French fried onion rings Arrange frozen vegetables in a 9 x 13 inch pan. Mix soup with 2/3 can of milk and pour over vegetables. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar over this. Arrange the onion rings over the top of all this. Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour. If there's no time to let vegetables stand at room temperature for 1/2 hour, then pour boiling water over to scald and drain before making casserole. Cream of mushroom soup and sliced mushrooms may be added instead of cream of celery soup. |
