2 tbsp. oil 2 lbs. chuck (steak or cut for pot roast - if bone in use 2 1/2 lbs.) 1 pkg. Lipton onion soup 1 (15 oz.) can peeled tomatoes, mash 2 tbsp. red wine or vinegar
Put all ingredients together in large frying pan (without browning). Simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
