STAR OF AZORES
 

1 c. milk
1 c. sugar
1/2 stick butter
2 c. flour
6 egg yolks

TOPPING:

1 c. sugar
1 c. milk

Beat together yolks, sugar and butter. Mix in the milk. Add the flour. Beat well. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour.

TOPPING: Pour the dry sugar in a pan and golden it at low flame. Add the milk, stirring until sugar is all melted. Let it boil until it thickens. When cake is done garnish it with this mixture.
