2 pkgs. (2 layer size) yellow cake mix (pudding type)
2/3 c. butter, melted
2 eggs
1 (12 oz.) pkg. (2 c.) miniature semi sweet chocolate pieces In large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, butter, eggs and 1/4 cup water; mix well. (Dough will be stiff.) Stir in chocolate pieces. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto foil lined cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden. Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheet. Remove, cool on a wire rack. OTHER TYPES: 1. Peanutty Chocolate Cookies. Same as above except use chocolate cake mix and stir in 2 cups of M & M peanuts. 2. Carrot-Raisin Cookies. Use carrot spice cake mix and 2 cups of raisins. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes. 3. Lemon-Apricot Cookies. Use lemon cake mix and 2 cups chopped apricots. 4. Rainbow Surprise Cookies. Use rainbow chip cake mix and 2 cups raisins. |
