ASPARAGUS AND PEA CASSEROLE
 

1 box frozen peas
1 box frozen asparagus
1 can water chestnuts, sliced & drained
1 can sliced mushrooms, drained
1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
1 can cream of mushroom soup
4 slices bread
1 stick butter, melted

Cube bread, mix with melted butter. Layer peas and asparagus. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and onion salt. Next add water chestnuts and mushrooms. Spread soup over and add the cheese and bread cubes. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. Serves 8 to 10.
