CORN FRITTERS
 

1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 egg
1/4 c. milk
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. canned corn kernels
Oil

Heat enough oil in pan about 1 cup to fry fritters. Mix all ingredients well and drop in hot oil by tablespoon. Turn once until brown on both sides. Drain on paper towel. May dust with powdered sugar to serve.
