RHUBARB BREAD
 

1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2/3 c. salad oil
1 egg
1 c. milk
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. cut up rhubarb
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. nuts (if desired)

Bake in 2 bread pans at 350 degrees for 60 minutes.

TOPPING:

1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. butter

Spread on top before baking.
