CHERRY COBBLER
 

1 lb. 5 oz. can cherry pie filling
2/3 c. pancake mix
2/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 c. butter, melted
Chopped walnuts

Pour cherry pie filling into an 8" square baking pan. Sprinkle chopped walnuts on top of pie filling. Combine pancake mix, brown sugar and nutmeg. Stir in egg until all ingredients are moistened. Drop by spoon on top of pie filling and smooth out over entire pan. Pour melted butter over top and bake at 375 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes. Serve with whipped cream. Makes 8 servings.
