LASAGNA
 

1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. chili powder
4 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. basil flakes or Italian seasoning
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
3/4 lb. Mozzarella cheese, grated
1 tsp. onion, minced
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. garlic salt
3/4 lb. lasagna noodles, uncooked
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce

Brown hamburger with the seasonings. Add tomato paste, sauce, and water; bring to a boil. Simmer 10 minutes. In 9 x 13 inch pan, ladle 1 1/2 cups sauce on bottom, then one layer noodles, more sauce, 1/3 of the cheese. Make 3 layers. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Freezes well.
