COUNTRY STYLE BRISKET
 

4 lb. brisket of beef
1 env. onion soup
1/2 c. ketchup
1/2 can whole berry cranberry sauce
Salt and pepper
Garlic powder
1 can beer

Season brisket with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Place in roasting pan. Mix onion soup, beer, ketchup and cranberry sauce; pour over brisket. Cover and place at 350 degrees for 2 1/2 to 3 hours until fork tender. Slice meat, skim fat from gravy, pour over meat and serve. This can be done ahead and returned to oven at 350 degrees to reheat.
