4 slices bread 1/4 c. milk 1/2 tsp. salt 1 lb. ground beef 1/2 c. grape jelly 1/2 c. ketchup Soak bread in milk. Add and mix in ground beef. Form into balls 1 1/2 inch in diameter. Brown in skillet over medium heat or in single layer in baking dish at 450 degrees for 15 minutes. Melt jelly and ketchup together. Drain fat from meatballs. Pour sauce over meatballs. Simmer over low heat 20-30 minutes or place in oven 1 hour at 300 degrees. |
