1 lb. pork sausage 3 tbsp. sausage drippings 1/3 c. green pepper 1 sm. to med. onion, cut up 2 tbsp. flour 10 1/2 oz. can consomme 2 tbsp. brown sugar 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp. vinegar 2 tbsp. chopped parsley Salt and pepper to taste Simmer sausage in water until done; uncover and brown. Saute onion and pepper in drippings; add flour. Blend in remaining ingredients. |
