STRAWBERRY CRUNCH DESSERT
 

LAYER 1:

2 c. crushed pretzels or graham crackers
2 tbsp. powdered sugar
3/4 c. butter

Melt butter, add crumbs and sugar. Spread in bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool.

LAYER 2:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 egg, beaten
1 c. powdered sugar
1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip

Use beater to blend well and spread on cooled crust.

LAYER 3:

2 (3 oz.) strawberry Jello
2 1/2 c. hot water
2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries

Dissolve Jello in hot water and add frozen strawberries. Refrigerate until partially set. Spread on top of second layer. Refrigerate until firm. Cut into squares. Serves 14 to 16.
