1 layer broken unsalted pretzels
1/4 c. + 2 tbsp. butter, melted
3 tbsp. sugar
1 (8 oz.) box strawberry Jello, mixed according to directions on box
8 oz. cream cheese
8 oz. Cool Whip
1 c. sugar
1 qt. or more sliced strawberries

Mix pretzels, butter, and 3 tablespoons sugar together. Bake 10-15 minutes at 350 degrees; let cool. Mix cream cheese, Cool Whip and 1 cup sugar together; pour over pretzels. Add strawberries and jello; cool and pour over cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate overnight.
