CONEY ISLAND SAUCE
 

1 tbsp. shortening
1 tbsp. butter
2 med. onions, finely ground
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tbsp. chili powder
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
4-5 hotdogs, ground
6 oz. can tomato sauce or ketchup
6 oz. can water
1/2 tsp. cumin

Melt shortening and butter in skillet. Brown ground beef and onions thoroughly. Add remaining ingredients and simmer until thick and done. This can be frozen.
