CANDY CRACKER COOKIES
 

35 saltines
1 stick butter
1 stick butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi sweet chocolate pieces
1 1/2 c. roasted, ground salted peanuts

Line jelly roll pan with foil. Arrange saltines on the foil. Melt butter and butter. Add brown sugar and cook 3 minutes. Pour over saltines evenly. Bake in 400 degree oven for 5 minutes. Remove from oven evenly sprinkle chips over crackers. Return to oven for only a few seconds until softened. Spread evenly over crackers then sprinkle with nuts. Press in nuts to chocolate gently. Cool. Cut. Refrigerate. You can use all butter or all butter.
