2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs, well beaten
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, do not drain
1 c. chopped nuts (opt.)
12 oz. softened cream cheese
2 c. powdered sugar
8 oz. butter
1-2 tsp. vanilla (for taste)

Mix flour, sugar, baking soda, eggs, pineapple and nuts together in large bowl. Pour into a 9"x12" greased and floured pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Immediately frost cake after removing from oven with cream cheese frosting.

FROSTING: Blend cream cheese and butter, gradually mix in powdered sugar alternating with vanilla.
