2 1/2 lbs. hamburger 5 slices bread 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can evaporated milk 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. sage 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 can chicken gumbo soup 1 can onion soup Tear bread into pieces, add milk and seasonings. Mix well with the meat. Shape into balls and place in large baking pan. Pour soups over the top. Bake at 350 degrees until meatballs are brown, usually about 1 hour unless meatballs are large. |
