HAMBURGER CABBAGE HOT DISH
 

1 lb. hamburger
1/2 head cabbage
1/2 - 3/4 c. Minute Rice
1 med. onion, chopped
1 pt. tomatoes & juice
1-2 c. American cheese, grated
Salt & pepper to taste

Fry hamburger and drain. Layer the following on top of the hamburger in this order: onion, rice, tomatoes and cabbage. Cover and simmer until all the liquid is gone, rice is done and the cabbage is tender. Add cheese on top and simmer until melted. Try to serve in layers so cheese stays on top.
