4 c. flour 1/2 c. sugar 1 tsp. baking soda 3 tsp. baking powder Pinch of salt 2 eggs, beaten 1 stick butter 1 1/2 c. buttermilk 1 1/2 c. raisins 1 tbsp. caraway seeds Mix together flour, sugar, soda, powder and salt; then cut in butter. Add eggs and milk, caraway and raisins. Turn onto a floured surface and knead. Flatten with hands. Cut into scones. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. |
