4 c. fresh blueberries, rinsed and drained 2-3 c. sugar 1/4 c. flour 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 1 c. (1/2 pt.) heavy cream 1 tsp. vanilla 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell Fill the unbaked pie shell with washed and drained blueberries. Combine sugar, flour, salt, nutmeg, cream and vanilla; blend well. Pour over the berries. Bake in a hot 425 degree oven for 45 minutes or until the top of the pie is lightly browned. Cool, chill, serve garnished with whipped cream and fresh blueberries. |
