6 egg whites 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar 2 c. sugar Beat egg whites until foamy. Add cream of tartar and beat to soft peaks. Add sugar gradually, beat until stiff. Pour into buttered pan. Put in cold oven at 300 degrees for 1 hour. Turn off oven and let sit in oven 20 minutes. Cool. Cover with whipped topping and let stand overnight. Top with thickened berries. |
