German chocolate cake mix 6 oz. can evaporated milk Pkg. caramels Pkg. chocolate chips 3/4 c. melted butter Melt 1/3 cup evaporated milk and caramels. Mix cake mix, melted butter and the rest of the milk. Spread 1/2 of this mixture on a greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 6 minutes. Remove from oven and spread melted caramels on top and then sprinkle the chips all over. Plop the remaining dough on spreading as much as possible. Return to oven and bake for another 15 to 18 minutes. |
