1/2 c. butter, softened 3/4 c. sugar 1 egg 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 1/2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. sour cream 1 c. raisins Orange frosting Beat sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Blend in egg and vanilla. Add combined dry ingredients alternately with sour cream, mixing well after each addition. Stir in raisins. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls of dough onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until set. Cool and frost. ORANGE FROSTING: 1/4 c. butter 2 c. powdered sugar 1 tsp. grated orange rind 4 tsp. milk Beat butter. Blend in rind, add sugar alternately with milk, beating until light and fluffy. Makes approximately 5 dozen. |
