BEEFED - UP BISCUIT CASSEROLE
 

2 lb. ground beef
1 c. onion, diced
1/2 c. green pepper, diced
2 c. tomato sauce
4 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. garlic salt
2 lg. tubes buttermilk biscuits
3 c. shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
1 c. sour cream
2 eggs, beaten

1. Brown meat; drain. Add onion, pepper, tomato sauce, chili powder and garlic salt.

2. Press half of biscuits into ungreased pan. Press together to seal all holes and spaces.

3. Beat eggs. Add sour cream and half of cheese. Add to meat mixture.

4. Spoon mixture over biscuits.

5. Top with remaining biscuits, stretched out as much as possible to cover meat.

6. Top with remaining cheese.

7. Bake at 375 degrees about 30 minutes, until golden brown.
