1 pkg. elbow macaroni 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef 8 oz. can tomatoes (sauce with bits) 1/4 tsp. garlic salt 1/4 c. green onion 1 c. cottage cheese 1 c. sour cream 4 oz. shredded cheddar cheese Cook macaroni in salt water until tender; drain. Brown ground beef; drain. Stir in garlic salt and tomato sauce. Mix macaroni with cottage cheese, sour cream and onion; mix well. Alternate layers of macaroni mixture and meat mixture into large casserole dish. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes or until cheese is melted. |
