8 oz. pkg. cream cheese 1 stick butter 1 lb. peeled shrimp/crawfish 1 lg. onion, chopped 1 bell pepper, chopped 2 ribs celery, chopped 2 tbsp. butter Crushed cracker crumbs 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 can mushrooms, drained 1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce 1/2 tsp. red pepper 1 pt. crabmeat 2 c. cooked rice Grated sharp cheese Melt cream cheese and butter. Saute shrimp, onion, bell pepper, and celery in 2 tablespoons butter. Add to cream cheese mixture. Add soup, mushrooms, seasonings, crabmeat, and rice. Mix well. Place in 2 quart casserole. Top with cheese and cracker crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes until bubbly. Freezes well. |
