2 sticks butter 1/2 c. Crisco shortening 3 c. sugar 5 eggs 1 tsp. rum extract 1 tsp. coconut extract 3 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 c. milk Cream butter, shortening until smooth and light; add eggs, one at a time, and beat thoroughly after each addition. Add extracts. Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with milk to egg mixture. Pour batter into a greased and floured tube pan and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees or until done. |
