DEER TACO SALAD
 

2 lbs. deer burger
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper (optional)
1 pack taco seasoning
1 can refried beans
1 (8 oz.) pack nacho chips or corn chips
1/2 head lettuce (shredded)
1/2 lb. shredded cheese (American or Cheddar)
1 (16 oz.) jar Thick & Chunky Salsa (Old El Paso, hot, med. or mild)

Cook deer burger with onion, pepper and taco spice until burger is done. Drain off any liquid.

Over low-medium heat, stir in refried beans. Mix and stir until combined and hot.

In individual serving bowls (or pie plates) put a layer of chips, cover with shredded lettuce, spoon on deer-bean mixture, sprinkle with cheese and cover with sauce.
