PINK SALAD
 

1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 c. water
1/2 c. sugar
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello
1 med. carton Cool Whip
1 c. shredded cheese
1 c. nuts

Combine pineapple, water and sugar and heat until it simmers. Add Jello. Chill until thick and add remaining ingredients. Chill and serve.
